Memories from a Rainy Season

An exhibition by Danish artist Ane Fabricius Christiansen featuring sculpture and material experiments made during her residency at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. Exhibition period: 19 June – 3 July 2016. Opening reception: Sunday 19 June, 6:00–8:00 p.m. Artist Talk: Sunday 3 July, 1:00–3:00 p.m. Through observation of clay’s geological regularities, Ane exploits the material’s inherent properties, initiating experiments where the qualities of the clay are developed and fine-tuned to create works balancing the deliberately created and the accidental.
