Growing up in Korean society with fear of war and militant culture, and as a son of a Korean War refugee, post-war and post-colonial became the main interest of his artwork. In Tentacles, he planned 'The Art of Luxurious Living: In Tentacles Hotel' — designing 'luxury' tactics in daily life without cost.
